Faulty Recon head ????? Please Help
PRESSURE TESTED & SKIMMED
CLEANSING DIPPED
HEAD PRESSURE TESTED TO 80 psi
VALVE GUIDES CHECKED AND REPLACED IF REQUIRED
VALVES REFACED OR REPLACED IF NECESSARY
VALVES SEATS REFACED AND VACUUM TESTED
HEAD REFACED BY THE MINIMUM AMOUNT
ALL PARTS CLEANED AND ASSEMBLED WITH NEW SEALS
Dropped it off for my mechanic to fit, I get a call from him explaining he couldn't get it started, he done all the normal checks plus he's been in the business a long time, anyway he done a compression check and told me it has no compression, he thinks it might be down to the supplier who hasn't re-ground the valves.
Can any shed some light on this to see if this could be the correct diagnosis or if something hasn't been connected correctly, my head is now done in as he'll need to take the head off and this means more expense.
Please help. It's now spent more time in the garage than on the road.
Thanks in advance.
