fast idle speed?

Can anyone tell me what the idle speed should be from cold start up..
1.8 i engine wiv running problems!!!

mine runs just over 1000 rpm ( but highly tuned ) then goes down to about 800 rpm because of the cams . fast tickover could meanan air leak ?

cheers got it running a bit better now just needs a blast up the road!
better get me mot sorted! not looking forward to that.. :roll:
