Not sure if I'm being blind or not looking right but is there any detailed how to guides for removing a DX engine

It's in the Haynes manual.
When you take the engine out and if you are putting it back in again, label all the electrical connectors and take lots and lots of pictures of everything.
It's easy just getting the engine unbolted in and out it's routing all the wires, cables, pipes and putting things back on in the right order that took me the longest to do.
I did damage a bit of paint in the engine bay pulling the engine out and I had some help from my dad
I found it easier to drop the engine in and slide the gearbox in from underneath then join the 2 together as it a right pig getting the angle right to miss the brake servo and I was on my own.

when I do it I drop the engine out the bottom, lift the car in the air with the crane then slide the engien out the front, that way can avoid splitting the box and no need to worry about trying to clear the legs.
I had a handy cart with wheels on to drop it on made my life a bit easier

The time I did a double drop swap hang, I too jacked the body way up, in the air, I think the Valance was 3 foot off the ground.
Lowered the engine to the ground, ontop of 2 skate-boards tied with plywood, and rolled it out from under.
I was fortunate to live in a House that had a I-Beam in the Middle of the house and exposed….. So it was very easy, Well easy is a descriptive word.
Word of Caution, do not use Concrete Blocks to Support the car….. Use 4X4 wood Stacks, bolted together.

It's a while since I had to do this but from memory I took the head off then lowered the remaining lump onto a piece of hardboard, shiny side down, and just slid the whole lot out, I can't remember lifting the car atall. I did the same in reverse putting it back.
