engine mount and starter motor bolts?

Post

i took my old engine out yesterday. 83 tintop 1.8 8v gti   and had to cut through the bolt on the drivers side engine mount.
so need a new one cant find the correct bolt available anywhere?

also the 2 bolts going through the starter motor to the front engine mount where both already damaged before i then butchered them further..
i believe they are supposed to be spline head m10 x 135?  but one was a hex/allen that came out with an 8mm allen key and the other was literally totally round inside the head so cant tell what it was supposed to be..

any ideas on who has these replacement bolts available  i have had a little look about online but with no luck.. the starter motor bolts are 75% smooth shaft with just a short amount of thread at the tip..  could a fully threaded bolt be used?

cheers in advance

Funnily enough I just bought the same bolts, could only get them from VW, but they were cheap. N 010 472 11 was the part number, unusual in that they're 85mm long and they have a pointy end to make it easier to get them in.. HTH

Smear the new ones in copper grease before fitting them as it will make them a lot easier to remove at a later date.
