ecu upgrade for 16v on carbs

has any one used the trigger wheels  microsqurt or micro jolt for fuel and timing  trying to deside best options
any help or other ideas looking for 170 bhp

Put the fuel injection back on? Go to 2 litres? 170bhp on a 2l 16V is quite achieveable, with a few tweaks to the standard K-Jet or with ABF and a custom map.

yes so ive heard just would like to have carbs if poss any ideas how many break is poss with lightend fly wheel and balanced bottom end and polished head etc

Lightened flywheel doesn't add any more BHP but it reduces inertia, so it can increase acceleration. Balanced bottom end allows the engine to rev higher, making higher power possible. Polished head - if ported and polished, and done properly, adds a bit but needs to be done in conjuction with other mods. A single mod doesn't add power on its own, its only when a combination of them all is done.

TBH I'd be guessing at the figures but plenty of people have achieved 160-170bhp with a 1.8 and 190+ with a 2 litre, with not too much expense.
