ecu question

hi all, two questions

1. dose anyone know if it is posable to de imob an ecu. if so were and what sort of cost .

2. how repairable are these units . worth repairing or just bin it?

1. yes they can be de immoblised, which ECU and for what engine?

2. Depends on the damage, might be cheaper to replace.

hi . thanks for the reply . i was having probs with an abf ecu. could not find any one who could do a health check on it . so ended up buying another at a resabonal price . good to know they can be de imob , as this is a grey area for me, that i would like to learn more on. thanks r
