1989 Cabriolet 1.8 8V DX engine in my 1981 Tin top

I have just put a 1989 Cabriolet 1.8 8V DX engine in my 1981 Tin top. My engine has a oil cooler, so my question is if i get both Ancillary and coolant hose kit for the cabriolet would this be fine?

Thank you in advance

I suspect that if you are replacing your hoses, that you think on replacing your oil cooler as well.  They aren't that much more expensive, your already under the car and with a new o-ring is one less thing youhave to worry about.

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?

They all start with GOOD Grounds.

Where are my DIY Links?

What type of oil cooler do you have, the air cooled type with a little radiator or the water cooled oil cooler just above the oil filter?

Have you got a link to the hoses you are looking at?

For the oil cooler you need the T shaped hose which goes from the water pump to the oil cooler and metal hose, you will also need the top hose in the picture which goes from the cooler to they main outlet from the head to the radiator.

What type of radiator do you have, top feed for type with a expansion tank?
