Distributer help needed desperatley!!

Right ive changed my contact breaker as i was cutting out and misfiring (im guessing it was the contact breaker as when i wiggled the wire for a bit i managed to get the engine running again).

When i turn the key all i hear is a click, i took the dizzy cap off and turned the key just to see if it still clicks and it does. I have absolutley no idea what is wrong with it. If the points arent set right, could this be it?

Need help ASAP, any help is massivley appreciated!!

just a click? sounds like a drained battery and the starter solenoid isnt firing properly

I agree with Lee, sounds like a flat battery or a knackered starter solinoid. If your battery is fine, then give your starter motor a technical tap with a hammer!
