Crankshaft vibration damper

Anyone ever had a problem with teir crankshaft pulley/vibration damper? I was checking today and i see they are obsolete but its not the type of thing that people like gsf would supply. I suppose you could always fit a standard pulley instead :?:
I see they cost ?215 & vat anyway!!!!

Oooouch, how much!  I have got a spare one in my garage, I use it to chock the front wheel to stop the car rolling forward with the handbrake off!

Never known anyone to have problems with them, sorry..
