Core plugs

I am going to replace the three big core plugs on the rear of my 1.8 dx engine.
What should I expect to find on the other side of the core plugs. Coolant or oil ?

Just trying to work out if I need to drain the coolant first or not.

Cheers

Managed to get these done last week. Removed antiroll bar, downpipe and exhaust manifold to get better access.
If I had to do it again, I would probably remove the offside driveshaft too, there really isn't a lot of room to swing a hammer in there.

And I did still get a bit wet, even though I removed the water pump to drain the block, there was about another 100ml or so of coolant behind the plug. It would have made sense to flush the block out with water while I had the pump off, but you live and learn.

Cheers
