cold start prombem

hi does any1 have a idea wot could be wrong iv just got a 1983 gti cab and it starts no problem but then just dies stight away smf if u put revs on it just runs lumpy then cuts out. its had new plugs and leads and all that thanks

Moved from "carb" to "injection".

First thing to check would be the mixture during warm up. It sounds rich (or lean). If you can't adjust the mixture to get it running properly, I'd be tempted to test, or swap test, the WUR.

WUR = warm up regulator. But don't fiddle with it until you've measured the mixture!
