Can anyone point me in the direction of a diagram or even better some photos of how the CIS should be connected up on a Mk1 1.8 Gti motor as I'm having a nightmare trying to decipher the haynes info.

what hoses are you stuck at? I take it you have managed to connect fuel lines in and out and the 4 injectors? that leaves warm up regulator and cold start injector.
