What tools? or what supplier?
Hi
Quick question - looking to change the shims on the solid lifters that are fitted to my gti (1600)
From looking through the forum I need to get the following tools:
Hazet 2574-1
Hazet 2599
Anyone know where I can get them from?
Thanks in advance
Adam

Where are you guys located? I have the tools and you could borrow them if you were nearby.
The job can be done without them, it's just not as easy.

I removed my cam shaft to chance mine. You must make sure you undo the caps in the right order or you can snap something…..
Make a note of what shims you have then at a later date if you need to change them again you know what's fitted and what you need to buy…
