cant get it started....

A newbie here, hoping for some advice. I am starting a 1981 karmann cabrio project (1.6i) but cant get it to start. I have a spark at the plugs and fuel is coming in, but the engine wont fire up.. :cry:

It turns over freely, but thats about it..Is this something common? i have checked the dizzy/leads and the fuel pump is working.

I'm desperate to crack on and i'm looking for some ideas.. HELP!!

There is tons on here about testing your furl injection system.

Do prowlers injector test as a first step and report back

Read the posts at the beginning of this section.

Got it started today!!
a fuel blockage was the problem. Time to get stripping.. :wink:
