best brakes PLEASE HELP

this is my 3rd mk1 golf cab gti 1.8, and the brakes are soo bad…. as you would expect, im not looking for a conversion, just want to know what are the best brake pads and brake discs for it? 1989 golf cab 1.8 gti

please help

Check out the EBC link at the bottom left hand side of this page, I got ulitmax pads and discs with goodridge braided hoses and I am happy with them.

thank you soo much, im gonna get them breaks, your sportline looks hot, i had one 3 years ago and still cant get over the fact its gone lol..

what is the best air filter? i had pipecross for my mk1 sportline but it made the car preform worse then the original, any suggestions?

I am sure my filter is a pipercross and I have had no probs at all, I will check the brand later but I am pretty sure.

The EBC brakes have been fine for me, just dont compare them to modern cars !!

My golf is looking decent for its age and the red paint is in good condition for 21 years even with its chips and dings, but thats half is character
