2001 polo gti engine power upgrade

i know this has nothn to do with a golf but hey.

Im thinking of putting a polo gti 1.6 16v engine into my MK1 Polo, and i just want to know if it will fit and what amount of power i could get out of it. Without doing total rebuilds and that type of stuff.
