16v konvertion airbox
hello. Maybe someone have a picture of example how to make air box to fit to my mk1. I have a problem today to fiting it. Tried to cut and make it smaller but still not fit. maybe from vw passat air box is smaller? i found one picture.

cant use corrado airbox its too big, what you want is mk1 gti or pre-90 mk2 8v/16v airbox. if you're going to use all the 16v isv system (recommended) then the best option is pre-90 16v airbox as it has all the fittings you need. you have to chop the bottom half off and use a 90spec rubber elbow, or force a 1.8 8v mk1 item onto it (16v hole is a little bigger, but it will go!)

p.s. thats an abf dizzy cap on kr dizzy, you rotate dizzy 180 degrees and use an 8v king lead
