1.8 K jet vacumn pipes- where do they go?
There is one from bulkhead (clocks I'm guessing) and one from dizzy vacumn advance.
Anyone give me a quick answer on what goes where? (to front or back of inlet) even better a pics…thanks

There is a clear one coming from the bulkhead and one which has a T piece which attsches to the dizzy vacumn advance, not sure which goes where. There is a possible connection on back of inlet and the also one on the pipe you mentioned.
Thanks so much for help.

just to piggy back your post, do you know anywhere that sells the bit with the 2 nipples on?

Have you got a charcoal canister?
If so, back of throttle body to dizzy through a t piece.
Other branch of T goes to canister. If no canister, presumably no T piece.
From "2 nipple thingy" (1 way valve - they're pretty universal… especially if one of both are blanked - eg looks like a rover part'd fit!) 1's either blanked, or goes to a black sensor that floats on the vac pipe, then that's blanked. The other goes to a capsule that looks like the one on the dizzy on the front corner of the metering head.
That's how it is on our late cabby with a JH

the bulkhead one is for the MFA. as i say you can put them on either nipple on the servo pipe and have 2 connected to a T piece or not it makes no odds.
when i do it i put the dizzy vacuum on its own nipple and others T to the other nipple, but thats just me

Just invade you haven't sorted it this is where they go to…
There is a vacuum inlet on the back of the intake manifold - this goes to the dizzy.
Then on the brake servo vacuum pipe there is either 0, 1 or 2 inlets. These go to the WUR and the MFA, like I say though you may not have any other vacuum ccts other than the dizzy (I don't on mine).

truth be told im not 100% sure, but the few mk1s ive worked on have had all the vac lines go to the servo. but these were later mk1 cabbies which might be different to the early ones. mk2s all have the vac lines to the brake servo, no nipples on the inlet.
tbh it doesnt matter as long as its a good vacuum it'll be reet

Yea tbh I wondered why the Distributer was on the back of the inlet, the vacuum should technically be the same throughout the inlet. There must be a reason, mine is currently on the servo vacuum and it works fine!
