1.8 k jet 8v Help!!!
My car hasn't been right for a while and currently the problem i have is that it is really hard to start and then once it does start and gets warm it stalls every time i put my foot on the clutch. I have hcanged the mtering head and had it tunned but it is still doing the same. Any help would be great.
Cheers

Have you checked the ignition timing and mixture? I know its really basic, but….you need to ask these things.
Also, is it definitely running on all 4 cylinders? Ignition faults? Compression low? Head gasket blown? etc etc etc could be many reasons why the car is down on power.

My first port of call would be timing and/ or plug failure.
Or maybe just a good service looking at the Air filter especially

I had it checked over by a garage, and i have given it a full service. It is running on all cylinders and the timing has been done also fuel mixture checked. He was able with the fuel mixture to make it run better hot or cold but not have both at the same time if that helps.

Can he make it sit on the lean side at one temperature, and the rich side at the other? Mixture is not an exact pinpoint requirement, it can sit in a 'window' or 'envelope' of values and still run quite nicely (torque and various emissions gases will vary slightly though).
If he cannot, then suspect the Warm Up Regulator, since this is the component who's job it is to keep the mixture within the right area.

Right well he can get it so it starts okayish from cold but then stalls everytime i put my foot on the clutch once hot although it does drive okay. Or have it drive really nice when hot but be a dog to start. So it sounds like warm up reg maybe ill try a new one of those.

My previous post is a ?0 (except mechanic's labour costs) solution, worth giving it a go? (I understood your previous post okay, as in gives the above scenario).
