1.8 head on 2l block

Hi all, my 1.8 engine block has just gave up on me...mega smoke!! does anyone know if the 2.0 block will fit?? if so which one?? i think my engine is the ex engine code running bike carbs.

am watching this topic if someone know anything

8v ones will yes, what have you done about fuelling and ignition control?

The  one that his on about got bike carbs and four branch,the bottom end start smoking blue a couple of week ago and thinking to put a 2l 8v bottom end under the 8v head carb,but just wonder about the engine code any!!!!!!???

any mk3 one so 2e, agg or ady. you may have to change the dizzy but that depends how you plan to manage the spark
