1.8 16v conversion

I currently have a 1.3 driver but would like to put a bigger block into it.does anyone do conversions here or would help me out (i would pay you obviously

Got offferd a 2.0 16v off a mk3 golf for £250 whats the conversion like on these? i know theres lots of things to consider as its going in a 1.3.Has anyone got a step by step for dummies instructions on how to do this sort of thing?

i would love to but you're too far away, plus i have no workshop

physically fitting the 2.0 16v is the same as the 1.8 16v, just need to make sure the conversion manifold you buy is suitable for mk1 abf as some will hit the bodywork due to the taller block.

then its a case of deciding what managment you want to use on it, stock abf or k-jet, or carbs, or megasquirt etc.  i can make you a wiring loom for any of the above if you wanted

you have to do the driver side bracket choppy off leg and reweld in the right place for bigblock, but loads o threads on this

I charge £90 for mk1/2/3/megasquirt based engine looms, 100 for mk4 engine looms
