which clutch for 1987 1.8 carb cabrio ??????

Hi i am restoring & slightly (tastefully) modifying my 1987 1.8 carb EX engine code cabriolet in an old school style, im a bit stuck as to which clutch is suitable, will the gti one fit? i have seen one on e bay quite cheap with the part code eck 040? i dont want to buy the wrong one!   :dontknow:

I would be careful about buying a clutch from ebay, I bought one a genuine VW one few years ago that was advertised to fit a Mk1 GTI and although it did it wasn't the right one. It was a reconditioned clutch to fit a Mk2 1.8 that was being used for towing and it was heavy duty, made the pedal incredibly heavy. I would get one from GSF, p&p is free at the moment.
