What Carb should I have on
Hi there
My nephew has asked me to sort out his 1988 Clipper which has been left to him by a family member. One of the things is the carb which appears loose. So I've ordered the new rubber mount, but looking at the Haynes manual I'm not sure if it has the right carb on. The one its fitted with has a manual choke, and no vacuum pipes.
Was there a manaul choke conversion available? Also I've noticed on some cars there is a green vacuum unit on the bulk head. Its missing off this car, is it there for the carb?
Thanks for any help

Got the car brought through today and got the carb off. Its got a weber conversion with a manual choke. It got the usual rubber mounting then an adapter plate.
The rubber mount was actually sealed up with gun gum.
New one fitted now so thats one bodge sorted but still a few more to go yet.
