Weber Help on a Clipper
and i was going to have a go at fitting it myself this weekend, anyone know of a step by step guide on how to do it ? is it difficult ? i was just going to remove the old carb and strap it on but i will get lost on were to put all the pipes so need some help
p.s. i am in the north east if anyone is around who can help ?

is it just a matter of pulling the old one off and reconnecting all the pipes ? accelerator and choke cables ?
will i need to drain the coolent or anything ?

Don't need to drain coolant or anything, just the water pipe that go to the carb that need changing and also the vacuum pipes
Once you have done these, case of just fitting carb, set your timing if it is out and start her up bud.
I will take pics of my 1.6 mk2 now and come back and post on here for you, same carb bud and setup, to show you what you need to do fella

Buy 2 t-piece pipes has shown in pic to fit your vacuum piping which you need to buy approx metre of , big arrows point to the t-pieces.
(1) goes to the vacuum ball
(2) links both t-pieces
(3) leads to servo pipe
(4) leads to back of carb
(Big Arrows) 2 x t-piece joints
(A) shows the water bypass method from metal water pipe direct to inlet manifold
