Weber carb leaking

Hope someone can help with this please,my 1.8 clipper came with a weber carb already fitted,so i`m not sure how long it`s been on the car.I have managed to route all the vacuum hoses in the correct way using the great guide on here and running improved a lot,but lately i`ve noticed a nasty smell from under the bonnet, this turned out to be petrol baking nicely on the manifold 8O
Seems to coming from a cover containing a diaphragm on the front of the carb, held in place with 4 screws, and also another cover on the side, held on with 3 screws.
So-would using a repair/service kit to replace the seals fix this? Or as i suspect petrol shold not enter these areas and something more serious has gone wrong and i need a new carb.
I took the carb off today and used an airline and carb cleaner on everthing i could find, refitted the above mentioned cover as tight as i dare, fitted it all back on the car and it still leaks

You can see where petrol has been collecting corroding the area at the bottom of the diaphragm

Accelerator pump diaphragm looks to have split (common on older units).

Weber stockist will be able to supply you with one of these and/or a complete overhaul kit to make it run like new.

Got the weber service kit,and changed the leaking diaphragms,no joy though, still leaking a tiny amount :banghead: guess the covers are deformed.
So got myself a new weber delivered today, swapped everthing over,no more leaks :D
