Weber carb leaking
Seems to coming from a cover containing a diaphragm on the front of the carb, held in place with 4 screws, and also another cover on the side, held on with 3 screws.
So-would using a repair/service kit to replace the seals fix this? Or as i suspect petrol shold not enter these areas and something more serious has gone wrong and i need a new carb.
I took the carb off today and used an airline and carb cleaner on everthing i could find, refitted the above mentioned cover as tight as i dare, fitted it all back on the car and it still leaks
You can see where petrol has been collecting corroding the area at the bottom of the diaphragm

Weber stockist will be able to supply you with one of these and/or a complete overhaul kit to make it run like new.
