Water hose, block to heater?

Hi guys,

I need the water hose that runs from the block to the heater, I've ordered one from VW heratige.com but having waited a month for it they're telling me it'll be another month before they can get one. Does anyone know where I can get one? Google's not very helpful, there are none on ebay and my botch job on the broken pipe is looking pretty unsteady.

Would really like to get some antifreeze on the go before it gets to cold but don't really want to pour it all over the road when I change the pipe.

Try going to your local motor factors and ask them to see a book on hoses. you will find pictures of hose shapes in this book just find a hose that has the same profile, you may have to cut a hose down to fit or try http://www.vw-classicparts.de/e_content.pl?src=e_cp_index
