Broken pipe

Does anyone know what this pipe is that has been completely shredded? It is coming out of the bottom of the air intake pipe leading to the carb on my 1.8 mk1 cabriolet . If anyone could offer a part number as well and suggest where to buy from that would be much appreciated.

warm air feed from the exhaust manifold, isnt important till the weather gets cold and damp. halfords sell this kind of tubing last time i checked (many years ago)

Mine hasn't actually got the centre section and still runs ok but like previous comment probably should be replaced for when the cold weather starts

some carbs are worse than others for icing, mine was really bad for it but some have found theirs was ok
