twin weber on a clipper

as title suggests can you get a twin weber carb on a H reg 1.8 carb clipper by any chance, as im looking to upgrade to a weber in the near future or will i be best just getting a single, also ive checked out the webers on crazy's site i take it that would need a k&n type filer on the top?? any advise would be much appreciated

You could put twin carbs on just about anything if you wanted to, you will need a new inlet manifold and aftermarket air filters though.

I presume your looking at the 32/34dmtl weber on crazyquiffs site, they come with a mounting kit to fit to the existing manifold and the original air filter is retained, the kit also comes with a bracket that raises the point where the air box mounts at the front. It has been recommended on this site somewhere that the original air filter and housing be used as this will give better protection to carb icing as opposed to using a k&n or such like.

It would also be worth replacing the rubber manifold gasket that the carb bolts to as well, if this has not been replaced before as they are known to split and this would save a job that might need doing in the future (only applicable with the single weber conversion).
