Throttle hesitation coming off the throttle!??!

Ok my list of things wrong with my engine seems to be getting bigger again.

Hopefully this one will be easy to identify and therefore fix everything else.

Here goes:

In any gear.
At any RPM range - but more pronounced at higher RPMs.

Say we are in 5th at 2000 RPM, flooring it for a few seconds, then lift off suddenly to about 50% throttle and there is a judder - then it's fine again.

If you lift off slowly then it doesn't do it.

New air filter, new set of vac pipes and setup as it is in the vac pipe setup thread.

Anybody got any ideas?

Cheers

Turned out to be two things.

1. A huuuge air leak from where the gasket had shrunk about 3/4mm.

2. The white/black vac diode like thing was the wrong way round.

All good now :D
