starting probs when warm --- FIXED AND SORTED NOW

hi all apologies if i have poss asked this before but need some advice on this prob i have a 1990 1.8 auto cab with the webber conversion (manual choke) having a few starting issues from cold she starts on the button but when warmed up she takes a bit to fire up have to pump the gas pedal or hold down till she fires then ok she idles and runs ok  just recently had the timing belt replaced and have previously replaced the coil-leads-plugs-air filter-distributor-rotor arm any ideas where i should be looking ie ignition— carb—- etc etc any help would be great      also have sometimes noticed a bit of fuel leaking from the carb in the middle where the gasket is i am not very technically minded but am i right in thinkin if fuel can get out then air can get in could this be my prob  :dontknow:  :dontknow: also runs on sometimes when i turn her off mixture ?

i noticed this with my cab. Its 1.6 manual and still fitted with the pieburg but i checked the manual and it says that when the car is warm start it with  the gas pedal a little down and dont pump it. This works perfect for me since ive followed that advice. Check your owners manual if you still have it if not ill check mine next time i go to my mums where i left it and get back to you to see if its the same for the auto.

Got the exactly the same problem with mine also with a webber carb. I'd be interested if anyone has any thoughts. It only happens when warm and been stopped for under an hour and is like its flooded - if I hold the accelerator down, it eventually fires, clears and is then fine.
