Starting problems

Hello

I have a VW Passat Typ 32, 1.6 automatic. I've bought it as a restoration project. It has not been started for 5 years, so I changed some of the fuel lines, fluids, and cleaned it up a bit ( not to much because I want to swap the engine with an 1.8 16v ).
Everything seems OK but it doesen't start. It has fuel, but no spark ( even with the battery full ), I tested all the components and all seem to be ok… I'm at a dead end.
Any tips for a newbie mechanic. I've atached some photos of the engine and a clip to hear what it does. In the video the battery is almost dead and sorry for all the moving kinda hard to film from the cabin :)
How are the spark plugs connected? Now they  are like this:

Plug leads look like they're connected 1-3-2-4 (but can't be 100% sure due to the quality of the pic), the firing order should be 1-3-4-2. Try swapping 2 and 4 and try again.

Also check for spark at the coil king lead during cranking. If it doesn't spark, then you're into checking the 12V coil wiring, including checking the dwell angle.

I don't have spark at the coil, I get on the primary coil 0.8 ohms and on the secondary coil ~9k ohms. It seems that it doesn't get signal to discharge from the distribuitor, I tried the 1342 ( the standard vatercoold vw )  even the 1432 from the aircooled, none worked, thats why I have the valve cover of, to check how the valve opens ( yes it is 1342 ), then I started checking every thing.  I have the Kettering system distributor on the car, but I have an AEG TELEFUNKEN TZ1 ignition module and a pulse distributor ( no wiring on them and in a pretty bad shape), I will use the pulse distributor some day , but I was hoping that somebody knew a trick to get it started so I can get it out of the way because the fire wood for winter is coming and I can't get it in the shed because of this car, and my parking spot is pretty steep so I can't push it out  and move it how I need on the ramp ( I want to start the body work ).

Are the contact points actually opening and closing? That's kinda step 0, step 1 is to get the dwell angle set properly with points-based ignition.

The contact points are closing and opening, the max gap betwen the contact points is 0.45mm.

Check the other 12V wiring for the coil. It really isn't a complicated system….the checks done in a logical way should reveal the issue quite quickly.
