stalling

Car wants to stall when pulling away, its ok pulling away really gently, but push the throttle a bit and it wants to stall, wether i'm pulling away in first gear or changing to second.  its ok if i pull away fast with plenty of throttle…

What could this be, there is no fuel blockages anywhere its all been checked, leads and sparkplugs have been changed..  its starts perfectly and idles and revs perfectly in neutral….!

Thats what I've done today..  had the carb off checked the mount..  not cracks or splits, replaced some vacuum hoses that looked suspect although I could see no evidence of leaks or collapsing pipes…  Only one thing I can see that could be suspect..

the vacuum pipe between the brake servo and inlet has 2 T pieces coming of the one way valve… one goes to the distributer vacuum thingy and the other is blanked off…  where should this go?

there is also a pipe from the rear of the carb that is blanked off..  i did put these two together today but made no difference, so I've ;eft them blanked off for now..

any ideas?

Could the ignition timing cause this if slightly out ?
