Speedo works but odometer does not = any tips? or anyone with clocks unit for sale!?!?(1.8 Clipper)

…exactly that.
it hasnt been an issue (for me anyway) until now, now i have to start a new job and claim mileage.dont really want to just make it up.

speedo is somtimes noisy, horrible plasticky clicking noise,but that is intermittent and not regular.
odometer occasionally hiccups into life, prehaps after nasty speed-bump, i dunno.
am sure already changed cable and it made no difference.
ANYWAY

all advice gratefully received, or if anyone in Surrey/Kent/ London / up to 50 miles of Sutton (Surrey) has a set of clocks for a fair price?!?!

I had this with mine. If you look at picture 5 in RBs link, it was the red gear on mine that was out of alignment. Was just a case of pushing it back onto the shaft and realigning it. :thumbs:

also sometimes just giving the odometer reset button a good push can fix it :)
