Cutting Out
Recently and currently my idling is doing something odd, of which I have not seen before on my 1.8 Auto.
When the engine is cold and either in Park or Neutal mode, choke cuts in when started till warm as normal, when the engine is warm it will not idle, revs fine, but just dies, this also applies when your are driving, for example in Drive mode, crusing along, when foot off and depress the brakes, engine dies. Must be something to do with the Carbruettor, advice and guidance really needed. Pls help.

Sounds to me like ur choke is abit dodgy, I'm no expert but very similar thing was happening with mine, the auto choke was playing up, I just swapped the carb for a manual choke one and it's been fine ever since! Hope that's some help
Where is the auto choke on the carbruettor, thinks mine is a stock one 2E2.

Thanks for the post and pictures.
I am a total beginner to this unit. So need a fair bit of guidance till become a novice. Cannot see any of the things in the trouble shooting, eg the heater flap that someone has posted on your link.

do you have the big black stock airbox? or is it one of them bolt on filters?
I have the stock air box, with a green ball shape thing attached to the collision bulkhead.
