runs well, untill hot!!

can any off you local lads call round and have a look at my vac pipes. i have set it up as the sticker under the bonnet, and it does not run. had a play about with them and got it going when cold, then stutters and stalls when cold! but if i pull the vac advance pipe off i can control it!!
if anyone that is local to northwich, cheshire can call round and have a nose it be great, and beer tokens will be offered with tea/coffee and bacon sarnies!!  im just off the A49 at cw8 2qt

I have followed the sticker under the bonnet with no luck. That's why I'm asking for help, anyone with a bit more idea than me!

right!!!! i have finaly got the vac pipes sorted     and all was running well!  sat on our drive feeling happy that after 2 long months i can drive it!! it got hot and the termostat opened, and it started to cough and struggle, until it stalled. only runs when hot if i hold the revs on the throttle. about 3 seconds after it started struggling  i had a coolant leak on the choke were i forgot tighten a jubilee clip and had a fair bit of steam around.
had enough off this car now!! might just cut my losses and break it.  

Choke stuck? Which engine/carb  is it?
