Changing the carb was one of my first big jobs on my car. As well as getting the carbs on the car you need to find a suitable linkage, replace the fuel pump with an electric one and fit somekind of pressure regulator.
I found this to be quite costly (my conversion was about £100 - ebay bargain! ) and the other bits cost more.
Still in the process of finshing the conversion to a decent standard.
Projekt Frustration :
White 1991 Clipper. Lowered over polished zender rims, Single 40 dellorto on lynx manifold, kent cam, full stainless 'zorst / manifold, powerflex bushed and braced. Not the fastest car, but sounds super nice!
Still going after 12 years… never said it was a quick fix! Time is not my friend.
