New Weber Carb

Hi

Am looking to purchase a new weber carb for my 1.8dx cabby. Quick question though, are these things plug and play out of the box or will i need to sit there with a long handled screwdriver to adjust the idle / mixture screws?

I'm not very good (i have an old weber that i'll be selling on) with adjusting these things and wanted to know whether its worth me doing the install or whether i should hand over the car and new carb to a mechanic who knows about such things?

hi i fitted one to my cabby about 3 years ago and it was simply a case of fitting there was no mixture screws to adjust but adjusting the idle screw was simple enough the nipple on end of accelerator cable was a little long and i had to file it a little as this was holding throttle open slightly full fitting instructions were supplied with the new carb hope this helps
