Mounting for carb or recommend a new carb - Pics included!

I recently purchased a 1976 MK1 golf 1.6cc and am currently rebuilding the carb

The mounting between the carb and inlet manifold is split/perished. See pics
Please let me know where I can find a replacement???

The carb is a Solex 34 PIC 5.

Feel free to recommend a new carb set-up if you think it?s wise

I?ll really appreciate your advice guys as the car is currently off the road
