mk1 golf cabby stalling problems

Hi im a newbie so bear with me.

Im having trouble with my car stalling as im slowing down, it's a 1.8 carb. Apart from this it runs perfect, and it only does it when it's warm.

Anybody had any similar problems.

Check air leaks in carb flange, piping etc, their are tuts on the forum fella

could be carb icing, check warm air feed pipe and tin metal shoud are fitted, as are the 2 vac pipes to the side of the airbox. the pipe from airbox to back of carb likes to fall off as well. and check warm air feed divertwer flap opens when engine on, its in the bit with the round domey bit on top on front pipe of airbox
