k+n carb fitted - where does the vacuum pipe go??

Just fitted a K+N filter to the carb, but where does the Vacuum pipe from the back of the carb go to? - It goes from the back of the carb to the air box originally, I've just blanked it off for now.

Also how do I find out what carb is fitted? I think its a Webber??

Cheers in advance

because you've removed airbox, the pipe from rear of carb goes to the left pin on the servo pipe which is to the right side of your block, the right pin on the servo pipe should have a vac pipe going to the dizzy.
You have a weber 32/34 dtml mostly likley

By doing this, doe it improve performance, because now the vacuum out the back of the carb isn;t split and shared between the servo pipe and the Airbox?

I heard that it is best to get a proper webber adaptor plate, which has its own vacuum pipe? This way the carb only feeds the servo pipe????

Hope this makes sense?

Adaptor plate, think someone wanting cash from you , even if you did want to go that route, you simply remove the 3 way adaptor from the rear of carb and put a single pipe from it direct to the servo pipe.
Do has in my tut and that is excact to weber how it has to be done and no it does not affect performance
Pete
