Is it easy to replace the starter motor?

Having bitten the bullet and replaced my carb with a Weber, I now need to replace the starter motor. I've got a refurbished Bosch one, and I would like to know how easy it is to do the work myself? Any tips I should know about?
I've also got a new fan to fit but that's another story!
Thanks guys!

I changed mine a few weeks ago - very simple job. As rubjonny says just make sure you support the engine in case of slight movement when undoing the bracket. Other than that easy … a couple of bolts and few wires to switch over. Make sure you disconnect the battery first of course, sounds silly but easy to forget  !!

Also don't do that I did, for extra access I disconnected the fan and then forgot to reattach. I wondered why it wasn't kicking in …. doh !!
