Inlet manifold coolant blockage

Hi

Any help will be massively appreciated, so I had the cylinder head out today and whilst removing the inlet manifold I found the coolant channel completely blocked by some rubber. It sounds like this is the oring that fails quite often. I'm assuming I just fit a new one (between head and manifold) but all the threads I've found are for peiburg carbs, I have a webber is this port supposed to be blocked or should it be open?

yeah this coolant channel is only really needed for the 2e2, but you still need to repalce the oring for the weber otherwise it'll leak coolant out the back. this is probably why the weber was fitted
