Identifying carb!

HI  currently i am away from home with work for about 8 weeks and cant get anyone to look under the bonnet of the golf but have been trying to work out what carb i have just by looking at 2 pictures, is it possible to identify a weber just from 2 side pictures!!!! bit random i know but i was looking at buying a 32/34 and was thinking that could just buy a cheaper one as it would already fit on where the weber i have is……then got me to thinking " i wonder what carb i have on there already"!!  I know it has a weber with manual choke but no idea which one, from pictures on web of 32/34 it looks the same but must be different somewhere????

i would say 80% that is a weber :)

peirburgs often have a big auto choke thing and the manual conversion for them doesn't look like your picture
