I only get hot air through the demister vents.
Hello,
Since I have owned my Clipper I have had this weird problem. As long as my heater is set to the windscreen symbol I can adjust the temperature that is blown out, but only through the windscreen vent and the little demister vents. If I set it to blow from the proper heater vents I get stone cold air regardless of setting.
Today I began replacing my dash, and in the process intended to rectify the heater issue, as I assumed it'd be pretty obvious what was wrong with it…lol.
The heater element in matrix gets reasonably hot and all mechanics appear to move as they should. As does the valve in engine bay. It seems like it should be obvious :?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Dan

Do you have the blue owners booklet ? The big vents on the end will only blow fresh air . Warm air. Through the heater can be directed. Up or down

Haha no way, nah I don't have an owners booklet. I've never encountered that before on any other of my cars I just assumed it was buggered!
Cheers, I put it all back together anyway today as I decided it wasn't worth fretting about lol. Plus I wanted to put my dash on Chris - though I'm just about to post regarding the trouble I am having removing the spline adapter lol.
Cheers again.
