How to start a Weber manual carb

Hi Folks,

I have never been properly shown this so can I ask…..

When starting first thing do you
 a) Pull the choke out all the way and start
 b) floor the accelerator, release the acclerator, pull the choke all out and then start
 c) Keep your foot on the accelerator while pulling the choke all out and then start ?

 It's a 36 TLP Weber on a 1.5 GL.
I know this looks like an easy one after a TV show but I am young and know not of the manual choke- there will be no prizes for the right answer, alas.  :)

Just spoke to Webcon,

the answer is A) - you don't touch the accelerator at all……    just in case anyone else is a manual choke novice like me.

With weber's  i start my car with a tap on accelerator and pull choke out and leave her to warm before driving off so oil nice and warm and circulating around the block so lesser chance of damage to block driving it on cold

Hey Peddersgolf,

Sound advice mate, sound advice. Everyone laughs at me in the office because I used to have a 4x4 and I used to have to run the it before switching off for the turbo to cool…… Now, it's the opposite way round!
