how do you fit carbs to a 1.8 gti dx engine?
where to get an intake manifold,
delortos or webbers or bike carbs,
and what else needs changin fuel pump, wiring e.t.c

Basics you need are:
Carbs ( weber or dellorto )
inlet - try eurocarb.
Throttle linkage.
fuel pressure - too high from an injection pump
Blanks for holes left in head by removing injectors

White 1991 Clipper. Lowered over polished zender rims, Single 40 dellorto on lynx manifold, kent cam, full stainless 'zorst / manifold, powerflex bushed and braced. Not the fastest car, but sounds super nice!
