Help Please, Easy one.

So i got my cabriolet around three weeks ago.

Kept getting a squeaking noise from the engine. I assumed this was one of the belts. So had it tightened.

This stopped the squeaking for a while but it cam back.

The other day when fiddling around in the engine i noticed a bolt was in the most peculiar positions. (i should get some photos)
The bolt holding the tightening arm is not right and its pulled out and is at an angle.

Its not the toothed bolt used to tighten but the standard bolt for attaching that arm to the body of the car.

All i need to know is what size bolt i need so i can replace it

Sorry for not knowing the technical terms. If no one knows what im on about i will get a picture tomorrow.

if the threads have gone on the bracket get longer bolts and nuts for the short term, replace the bracket on block when you find one

I will get hold of one later. I will put a picture up anyway as i dont know how it has managed to hold on.
