Head Problems, Help Somebody Please.

Hi i am in desperate need of some expert advice. my 1987 1.8 auto clipper decided to blow out extreme amounts of steam from the exhaust last week and also water coming from the carb and burning off on manifold, i stopped it and towed it home. i automatically thought head gasket, so stripped down head, Head gasket was like new no signs of blowing, so pressure tested inlet manifold and just had head pressure tested both of which are fine. Now i am really lost HELP anyone please.

The gasket maybe fine. But have the had the head checked for 'flatness'?

Yea all checked and ok. Its starting to annoy me now as to what it could be.

Has it got a water heated manifold on it?

Yea it has, which i tested by blanking off the end with the seal on and connecting a hose on the other end and no leaks there unfortunately. I thought it might have been the seal, but the seal is like brand new.

Very confusing my mate.

Yea i know, i cant seem to find anyone with any ideas as to what it could be. The only choice now is to  put it back together with all new gaskets and see what happens.
