Engine code

Hi just wondering how I find out my engine code. I have a 1990 clipper non injection. Thanks

part of engine number stamped on ledge on top of block right hand side. Sticker in boot or V5 (although sticker and V5 not 100% positively as engine may have been changed). Would think if not injected it will be same as a MK2 1.8 GL/Driver engine code GU?
