engine code help please with pics

i recently got this engine and wanted to know what one it was. i have cleaned up where the code should be (above the dizzy) but it not there not even faint so please help me











i take it the last picture is off the oil pressure sender?

I think because of the camshaft bearings (with caps), this is a big block 1.6/1.8. Also the external water pump helps a bit. Sockets I guess for fuel injector above intake ports could be 8 valve injected PB, PF or RV.
Does the head have a part number?
PB is 87-91 Golf, Jetta, Passat. 1.8. 82 kW DIGIFANT
PF is  same 79 kW
RV is 87-91 Golf , Jetta, 77kW "J" DIGIFANT.
Having said that it's a bit of a guess.

Just to be sure your looking in right area the engine number is above the fuel pump.
Sand it down and you will get it

hello there where the arrow points to is where i have sanded down tryed to take pics but wouldnt come out there is numbers there but no code e.g dx but behind the water pump is a audi sign could it be a audi engine  :dontknow:
